Within this robot-assisted automation cell by ASA Automation, dental items are gently gripped, oriented and transferred by three collaborating robots by Fanuc. Up to 30 articles including the instruction leaflets can be packaged. All the requirements for a cleanroom-compatible production process in medical technology were taken into account.

Only the cleanroom production can assure that any medical products aren’t contaminated by particals most of which cannot be even seen with the bare eye. Therefore all requirements for a cleanroom-compatible production process in medical technology were naturally also taken into account for this handling system.
