This year's motto at Anuga FoodTec is "One for all - all in one".
Three collaborating robots from the new CRX series and a Scara SR12IA from Fanuc will vividly depict a modern, automated donuts production line. The demonstrated process includes product quality control, handling and packaging. The quality control includes detecting the degree of browning and checking the donut decor.
ASA, which is specialized in turnkey projects, takes on the development of the entire production line in its role as general contractor. The company Cretec provides the AI quality assurance. The individual gripper technology is manufactured by LMD using the 3D sintering process.
The choice to use collaborative robots for this process was deliberately made, because it shows the constantly growing and forward-looking trend of cooperation between "robots and humans".
